Beta Product Notice

PaiyBit is currently in beta. While we take every care to ensure the platform operates correctly, by using PaiyBit you acknowledge that:

This is an early-stage product and bugs may occur
You are responsible for securely storing your 12-word recovery phrase — PaiyBit cannot recover lost wallets
Transactions on the Bitcoin SV network are irreversible
Loss of funds may occur due to software errors, network issues, or user error
PaiyBit is not liable for any financial losses incurred while using the platform

By using PaiyBit, you accept these risks and agree to use the platform at your own discretion.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PaiyBit (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (password and/or recovery phrase). You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User-Generated Content

The Platform allows users to publish content including text, images, audio, video, and other media ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By publishing on the Platform, you grant PaiyBit a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your User Content as part of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for any User Content you upload or publish. The Platform does not pre-screen all content but reserves the right to review and remove content at its discretion.

5. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, publish, or distribute any content that:

Is illegal or promotes illegal activity in any jurisdiction
Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way
Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents
Contains threats, harassment, hate speech, or incitement to violence
Is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to scam other users
Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
Violates the privacy of others by sharing personal information without consent

6. Content Moderation and Removal

PaiyBit reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, refuse, or remove any User Content at any time and for any reason, including content that violates these Terms. Automated moderation tools may be used to flag potentially violating content.

Accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms may be suspended or permanently terminated.

7. DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice by emailing dmca@paiybit.com with the following information:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform (URL)
Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the user who posted it. The user may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error.

8. Repeat Infringer Policy

PaiyBit maintains a policy for the termination of accounts belonging to repeat copyright infringers. Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our sole discretion. We may also terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers regardless of whether the copyright holder files a formal DMCA notice.

9. Payments and Transactions

The Platform facilitates peer-to-peer payments using Bitcoin SV (BSV). PaiyBit is not a financial institution and does not hold user funds in custody beyond what is necessary for escrow during active sessions. All transactions on the blockchain are final and irreversible.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PaiyBit does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaiyBit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of cryptocurrency, or unauthorized access to your account.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
